What is Gymea Homestead?
During lockdown in Sydney NSW, Will and Cody started sharing their life with their fur children on social media.
Will and Cody realised that they live their life in a fairly unique way - living in the suburbs of Gymea with their eight animals. Mini farm much?
After lockdown, Will and Cody couldn’t bear to leave their dogs at home when they travelled or went on their weekend adventures.
So they went in search of pet friendly accomodation, travel and experiences and started sharing their journey.
Why “Gymea Homestead”?
We love that feeling of travelling somewhere that feels like home but also the feeling of coming back home after a long trip. Gymea Homestead is the nickname we used for our base camp, our mini farm and our home.
Our hearts are in the country but our careers are in the city. We love escaping the ‘big smoke’ and getting out in nature. Coming home to our ‘homestead’ feeling like an oasis in the middle of the suburbs.
How many animals live at the homestead?
Currently we have eight.
Our two dogs Susie and Bindi, two cats Romeo and Sage, our bunny Luca and our three chickens Bev, Martha and Willowdeen.
Though we (Cody) are suckers for a rescue animal who needs a home so who knows how long it will stay that way!
